Happy Birthday INREES !
Thank you to all those who made this adventure possible…

After a very rich first year, INREES gives you rendezvous on September 25th for an autumn of discoveries and prestigious meetings with, in particular, anthropologist Jeremy Narby, Explorer Priscilla Telmon, Neurologist Mario Beauregard, bestselling author Patrice van Eersel or renown Neuro-psychiatrist David Servan-Schreiber…

Since its creation, on July 3rd 2007, INREES has not ceased developing, exploring and growing. We acquired a priceless experience during these long months. But much remains to be done. Our objective is unchanged: to allow by our actions, as much for the public than for the health professionals, a different listening and reception of extraordinary experiences

From the professional side, and this since the first weeks of the existence of INREES, we have not ceased considering that it was an absolute priority to join together in a single work the entire existing clinical knowledge on the “extraordinary experiences”. This founding work ,that we baptised temporarily “Extraordinary Experiences Clinical handbook”, aims at presenting by category, the totality of extraordinary experiences indexed to date, as well as suggestions of therapeutic approaches and of listening. The first objective of this work is to study the extraordinary real life experiences. Discover more information on INREES’s clinical handbook.
INREES’s clinical handbook project

The drafting of this Handbook advances, it will be published in France by Dunod Editions and should appear on the shelves of the bookshops at beginning of the year 2009. This ambitious project is financed mainly by INREES, i.e. thanks to the donations of people like you who believe in an open and respectful science.

On the side of the general public side, the year was also very rich. Indeed, between September 2007 and June 2008, INREES organised not less than 23 conferences with prestigious speakers such as astronaut Jean-François Clervoy, movie director Jan Kounen, bestselling authors Patrice van Eersel or Bernard Werber. We also present on wild screen exceptional documentaries movies like “Other Worlds” or “See (without the eyes)” and feature films such as “Contact”, “2001, Space Odyssey” or “The Fountain”. On September 25th 2008, we will inaugurate a new season of conferences by receiving anthropologist Jeremy Narby, on October 16th Neurologist Mario Beauregard, on October 30th renown Neuro-psychiatrist David Servan-Schreiber, on November 27th bestselling author Patrice van Eersel and on December 18th Tibet Explorer Priscilla Telmon…
Thus, INREES will continue to offer an event every Thursday evening (conferences, evenings cinema, etc) but also one half-day workshops, seminars, and groups of sponsorship in province…
